Thermocouple is the most adapted method for measuring temperatures, sometimes the only available method. Thermocouples are among others used for nuclear reactors, nuclear submarines, jet aero engines, industrial furnaces and other industrial heat treatment (measurement and control of temperature). Thermocouples can be created with various combinations of alloys. Our thermocouple alloys wire can be used to measure temperatures from – 200 °C to higher temperatures up to 1260°C.
The alloy conforms to the following international specifications: Ø European standard IEC 584 Ø American standard ASTM E 230 Ø American standard ANSI MC 96.1 For other main specifications, please contact RESCAL.
Our raw material is elaborated and melted within our Group, by Specials Metals Wiggin (UK) Kotherm®KP, Kotherm®KN..etc .
